| The only objective I have is to continue to support my family & do it WELL.
I have, however, a couple issues; 2 (very old) DUIs (1982 & 1989), they're misdemeanors in this state. Look, we were all kids once, smart guys put the "kid" stuff away, for me that was over 20yrs ago. I also have a single vehicle upset MVA with Willis Shaw while avoiding other obstacles in the road (the only such incident of my 30yr career, & it took me 25yrs to do that), that incident is about to turn 5yrs old (April,2010). NO injuries or other damage, & NO tickets/citations were issued for the incident.
The GOOD news: I currently hold MULTIPLE Safety awards, mostly from Willis Shaw (a good record with them till that day, they actually hired me THREE times. Once as a Co driver, then immediately & once more as an O/O), & another one currently pending & 0 (ZERO) claims at current employment of 4.5yrs. I have a Defensive Driver INSTRUCTOR Certificate from the National Safety Council (1996-2001, & actively taught the course 4 of those 5yrs), ALL CDL-A endorsements, TSA, TWIC, & HazMat Certifications, crane & rigging experience, only 1 (one) minor ticket for my last 20yrs (in any veh), NO points/reckless/careless/speeding, & will WELCOME ANY testing and/or dialog with ANY safety dept should you/they choose.
I AM, a good driver, who had one very bad day. My record proves that, & I can guarantee you I know personally at least one way NOT to upset a vehicle. As unfortunate as it was, not many folks can say that, and I can say it with assurance that it won't happen again.
